Early Cervical Cancer and Recurrence after Minimally Invasive Surgery without Uterine Manipulator

Objective: Worldwide cervical cancer is the fourth most common and also leading cause of death among women, after breast cancer, colorectal lung cancer. The aim this study to investigate long-term oncological safety laparoscopic treatment without use a uterine manipulator for patients with early stage Materials methods: A single-center retrospective was conducted at Department Obstetrics Gynecology ARNAS Garibaldi Nesima on surgically treated from 2014 2017. Inclusion criteria included squamous or adenosquamous histotype, FIGO Ia1 Ib2, size < 4 cm, ECOG status 0–1, negative serum beta-HCG. were divided into two groups: an intra-uterine manipulator. Results: Seventy identified, but only thirty-one met inclusion enrolled. All underwent surgery: three manipulator, twenty-eight without. Among enrolled, twelve women had in situ (IA1), nineteen particular cases IA2, ten IB1, seven IB2, according classification. At follow-up, recurrence occurred, not used. Conclusion: After five years rates minimally invasive surgery are about 10%, related higher level rates.
