چکیده
ObjectiveWe evaluated the early and midterm outcomes of Incraft (Cordis Corp, Bridgewater, NJ) ultra-low-profile endograft by analyzing data from Triveneto Registry (TIR).MethodsTIR is an independent multicenter cohort registry 10 vascular surgery units in area (Northeast Italy). A prospective analysis patients electively treated with September 2014 to June 2019 was performed. The main were technical success, major 30-day complications, aneurysm-related death, freedom reintervention, mortality rate during follow-up analyzed using Kaplan-Meier curves. Univariable Cox regression used evaluate associations between anatomic complexity factors reintervention.ResultsDuring study period, 209 included registry. Their mean age 76.9 ± 7.7 years Society for Vascular Surgery comorbidity score 0.97 0.52. Most (n = 181; 86.6%) had presented at least one complex factor: aortic neck angle α <135° 31 (14.8%), conic 17 (8.2%), iliac tortuosity index τ >1.5 102 (48.8%), artery calcification >50% 106 (50.7%), external <6 mm 45 (21.5%). concurrent presence two or more present 67 (32.1%). success 99.5%, complication 1.5% (one limb occlusion, branch stenosis, type III endoleak [EL]). No recorded. period 18.5 13.2 months. overall 9.5% 18), none related aneurysm. reintervention 92.1%. Of these patients, six (3.2%) been II EL embolization, (0.5%) IA EL, four (2.1%) flow-limiting dissection. None single predictive reintervention. However, association (hazard ratio, 7.25; P .014). crude this subgroup low (4 67; 6%).ConclusionsData TIR have demonstrated excellent endovascular aneurysm repair stent graft anatomy. still represent issue success. characteristics device resulted intervention rates, even challenging issues.

An Aortoenteric Fistula Arising after Endovascular Management of a Mycotic Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Complicated with a Psoas Abscess
Mycotic aortic aneurysms account for 1–3% of all aortic aneurysms. The management of this disease is controversial. Since open surgical repair is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates, endovascular aneurysm repair is an alternative treatment method with promising early and midterm outcomes, although its long-term durability is unknown.Secondary aortoenteric fistulas may occur iatro...

PURPOSE To introduce a nation-based endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) registry in South Korea and to analyze the anatomical features and early clinical outcomes of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) in patients who underwent EVAR. MATERIALS AND METHODS The Korean EVAR registry (KER) was a template-based online registry developed and established in 2009. The KER recruited 389 patients who unde...
متن کاملEndovascular treatment of popliteal artery aneurysm. Early and midterm results.
OBJECTIVE to evaluate the efficacy of endovascular repair of popliteal artery aneurysms on maintaining patency of the stent in the short and medium term. METHODS this was a retrospective, descriptive and analytical study, conducted at the Integrated Vascular Surgery Service at the Hospital da Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo. We followed-up 15 patients with popliteal aneurysm, totaling 18...
متن کاملSideways displacement of the endograft within the aneurysm sac is associated with late adverse events after endovascular aneurysm repair.
OBJECTIVE Previous studies have shown the importance of proximal and distal endograft fixation. There is little information on the middle, unsupported section of endograft within the aneurysm sac. We quantified sideways movement of the endograft within the aneurysm sac and correlated it to late adverse events. METHODS Patients who underwent endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair ...
متن کاملClinical outcome and morphologic analysis after endovascular aneurysm repair using the Excluder endograft.
OBJECTIVE Long-term follow-up after endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) is very scarce, and doubt remains regarding the durability of these procedures. We designed a retrospective cohort study to assess long-term clinical outcome and morphologic changes in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) treated by EVAR using the Excluder endoprosthesis (W. L. Gore and Associates, Flagstaff, Ari...
