چکیده
Despite the advances mobile devices have endured, they still remain resource-restricted computing devices, so there is a need for technology that supports these devices. An emerging such resource-constrained called fog computing. End can offload task to close-by nodes improve quality of service and experience. Since computation offloading multiobjective problem, we consider many factors before taking decisions, as length, remaining battery power, latency, communication cost, etc. This study uses grey wolf optimization (MOGWO) technique optimizing decisions. first time MOGWO has been applied in A gravity reference point method also integrated with propose an enhanced (E-MOGWO) algorithm. It finds optimal target by into account two parameters, i.e., energy consumption computational heterogeneous, scalable, multi-fog, multi-user environment. The proposed E-MOGWO compared MOGWO, non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) accelerated particle swarm (APSO). results showed achieved better than existing approaches regarding consumption, number tasks successfully executed.

Hierarchical Fog-Cloud Computing for IoT Systems: A Computation Offloading Game
Fog computing, which provides low–latency computing services at the network edge, is an enabler for the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) systems. In this paper, we study the allocation of fog computing resources to the IoT users in a hierarchical computing paradigm including fog and remote cloud computing services. We formulate a computation offloading game to model the competition between IoT...

Background and Aim: The Fog Computing is a highly virtualized platform that provides storage, computing and networking services between the Cloud data centers and end devices. Fog computing fits the characteristics of real-time health monitoring systems. In such systems, a large amount of data is acquired from a multitude of bio and environmental sensors. On the other hand, its distribution and...
متن کاملFramework for Computation Offloading in Mobile Cloud Computing
— The inherently limited processing power and battery lifetime of mobile phones hinder the possible execution of computationally intensive applications like content-based video analysis or 3D modeling. Offloading of computationally intensive application parts from the mobile platform into a remote cloud infrastructure or nearby idle computers addresses this problem. This paper presents our Mobi...
متن کاملA Heuristic Algorithm for Multi-Site Computation Offloading in Mobile Cloud Computing
Due to limitation of mobile device in terms of battery life and processing power, Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) has become an attractive choice to leverage this shortcoming as the mobile computation could be offloaded to the cloud, which is so-called mobile computation offloading. Existing research on mobile computation offloading considers offloading a mobile computation to a single cloud. Howe...
