چکیده
The presence and bioavailability of potentially toxic elements in the soil–plant system are major limitations to application compost agricultural soils. In this study, content changes nutrients four organic wastes, namely household waste, sewage sludge, chicken manure, cow/sheep were analyzed during composting, quality products was assessed view their impact on environment. objective study determine evolution 21 metal elements, including macroelements (Na, K, Ca, Mg), microelements (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Mo, Ni), (Ti, Al, Cr, Cd, Pb, Sb, Li, Co, Be, In, Sn) composting. Results showed that contents these varied considerably between different wastes. some Fe, Ti, Cu) increased substantially after composting due matter decomposition weight loss, whereas other (Mg, In) decreased water leaching. obtained characterized by heavy not exceeding permissible limits. Principal component analysis (PCA) carried out further analyze relationships studied waste products. PCA results revealed Mg) negatively correlated with PC1, positively PC1. From PCA, it possible classify

Evaluation of stream sediment contamination by potentially toxic elements around mining and farming areas (SE Nigeria)
In this work, the concentrations of the potentially toxic elements in stream sediments in SE Nigeria were assessed for pollution monitoring in mining, quarrying, and farming areas. The levels of iron, molybdenum, vanadium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, manganese, chromium, barium, and beryllium were determined. The concentrations of the elements were in the order of Fe > Ba > Mn > Cr > Zn...
متن کاملEvaluation of Potentially Toxic Elements Pollution Indices in Rangeland Northwest of Chadegan city (Isfahan Province)
Abstract Today, the pollution of Rangeland soils by various destructive pollutants has become one of the human-environmental problems. Lacking proper management of organic matter discharge can also increase the concentration of salts, heavy metals, and pathogenic microorganisms. In this study, to investigate and measure the concentration of toxic elements, 128 soil samples of Chadegan region w...
متن کاملStudy of contamination, sources and health risk of potentially toxic elements in dusts of Tehran’s elementary schools
Concerns about dust contamination with potentially toxic elements are especially important in environments such as schools (particularly elementary schools) because children are more vulnerable to contaminants than adults. Therefore, due to the diversity of air pollution sources in Tehran, the present study was conducted to determine the severity of pollution, origin and health risk assessment ...
متن کاملVulnerability of the karst area related to potentially toxic elements
Soil samples from 31 locations in the Una river spring catchment were subject to chemical extraction analyses. The data were presented as distribution maps of potentially toxic elements (Al, Cu, Mn, Pb and Zn) in the surface soil of the area. To evaluate the vulnerability of the immediate spring zone of the karst catchment, the vulnerability map was derived from the application of the PI method...
متن کاملPotentially Toxic Elements Contamination in Sediment, Surface and Pore water of Maharlu Saline Lake, South - West Iran
Maharlu Lake, located in the SW of Iran, has acted as a sink for various wastewater discharges in the last few decades. This study aimed at assessing potentially toxic elements (PTEs) distribution in sediment, surface and pore water samples of Maharlu Lake. To achieve that, the samples were collected from each compartment and the total concentration of PTEs (Al, Fe, Sc, Cr, Co, Ni, Zn, As, Sb, ...
