چکیده

The chickens of local rocks breed were grown in the vivarium Institute Zoology up to 20 days age. Chickens fed with standard bird combined feed for broilers. For studying dynamics hematological parameters blood pockmarked infected E.tenella and treated Artemisia absinthium divided into three groups birds each. first group not (control). second third dose 20,000 sporulated oocysts. was (control 2), chicks allowed A. 1500 mg per kg at following day after infection 10 days. In Eimeria tenella number erythrocytes, eosinophils, pseudo-eosinophils decreases monocytes increases (P <0,05). Decrease red cells reduces amount hemoglobin.

Effects of Artemisia annua and Pimpinella anisum on Eimeria tenella (Phylum Apicomplexa) low infection in chickens

The anticoccidial effect of Artemisia annua and Pimpinella anisum on Eimeria tenella infection (1500 oocysts/chicken) has been studied. The products were used as oil administered 7.5% in water and as powder 1.5% in food. The effects of A. annua and P. anisum on E. tenella infection were assessed by clinical signs, mortality, fecal oocyst shedding, lesional score, body weight gain and feed conve...
