Dynamic Response of DP Offshore Platform-Riser Multi-Body System Based on UKF-PID Control

The coupling effect between the offshore platform and riser in platform-riser multi-body system might be greatly increased under heavy external maritime stresses. will become significantly more nonlinear. partial secondary development of OrcaFlex is carried out considering strong non-linearity dynamic positioning (DP) system, combined with actual construction engineering background lumped mass method, based on Python-language embedded programming basis operation principle application program interface (API) composition its modules. To regulate a UKF-PID control approach an unscented Kalman filter presented. Based procedures described above, classical calculation model created, model’s results are compared to those relevant references, confirming method’s validity viability. Finally, PID-controlled rigid–flexible developed, simulation performed specified sea conditions. findings have implications for practice.
