Dynamic Equilibrium Equations in Unified Mechanics Theory

چکیده
Traditionally dynamic analysis is done using Newton’s universal laws of the equation motion. According to Newtonian mechanics, x, y, z, space-time coordinate system does not include a term for energy loss, an empirical damping “C” used in equilibrium equation. Energy loss any governed by thermodynamics. Unified Mechanics Theory (UMT) unifies motion Newton and thermodynamics at ab-initio level. As result, [entropy generation] automatically included (UMT). Using unified mechanics theory, derived presented. One-dimensional free vibration with frictional dissipation compare results proposed model that For entropy generation system, trend predictions comparable reported experimental mechanics-based predictions.

Theory for non-equilibrium statistical mechanics.
This paper reviews a new theory for non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. This gives the non-equilibrium analogue of the Boltzmann probability distribution, and the generalization of entropy to dynamic states. It is shown that this so-called second entropy is maximized in the steady state, in contrast to the rate of production of the conventional entropy, which is not an extremum. The relation...
متن کاملInterval Algebraic Approach to Equilibrium Equations in Mechanics
The engineering demand for more realistic and accurate models involving interval uncertainties lead to a new interval model of linear equilibrium equations in mechanics, which is based on the algebraic completion of classical interval arithmetic (called Kaucher arithmetic). Interval algebraic approach consists of three parts: representation convention, computing algebraic solution and result in...
متن کاملNon-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics Inspired by Modern Information Theory
A collection of recent papers revisit how to quantify the relationship between information and work in the light of modern information theory, so-called single-shot information theory. This is an introduction to those papers, from the perspective of the author. Many of the results may be viewed as a quantification of how much work a generalized Maxwell’s daemon can extract as a function of its ...
متن کاملMathematical theory of non-equilibrium quantum statistical mechanics
We review and further develop a mathematical framework for non-equilibrium quantum statistical mechanics recently proposed in [JP4, JP5, JP6, Ru3, Ru4, Ru5, Ru6]. In the algebraic formalism of quantum statistical mechanics we introduce notions of non-equilibrium steady states, entropy production and heat fluxes, and study their properties. Our basic paradigm is a model of a small (finite) quant...
متن کاملQuantum Mechanics as a Classical Theory XI: Thermodynamics and Equilibrium
In this continuation paper the theory is further extended to reveal the connection between its formal aparatus, dealing with microscopic quantities, and the formal aparatus of thermodynamics, related to macroscopic properties of large systems. We will also derive the Born-Sommerfeld quantization rules from the formalism of the infinitesimal Wigner-Moyal transformations and, as a consequence of ...
