Nanomaterials have gained much attention in the field of environmental remediation, largely due to their high surface area-to-volume ratio and other unique physical, chemical, biological characteristics that emerge its size effects. Metallic nanoparticles are traditionally manufactured using wet chemical processes; however, chemicals utilized generally hazardous combustible. The biosynthesis a variety plant resources is considered green technology because it does not use toxic chemicals. This work focuses on synthesis biogenetic silver sequestration colorants from aqueous solution. extract aquatic macrophyte Salvinia molesta (water hyacinth) has been employed prepare by reduction reaction. In UV-visible spectrum synthesized nanoparticles, absorbance peak was detected 420–430 nm range. were used sequester methylene blue (MB) dye About 121.04 mg/g found as highest adsorption capacity according Langmuir isotherm. It observed experimental results pseudo-second order kinetics good agreement. As result, biosynthesized nanoparticle might be potential adsorbent material rehabilitation cleanup.
