Duo-Stage Decision: A Framework for Filling Missing Values, Consistency Check, and Repair of Decision Matrices in Multicriteria Group Decision Making

چکیده

With high uncertainty and vagueness in the decision-making process, maintaining consistency decision matrix is an open challenge. Previous studies on intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) theory focused of preference relation but ignored matrix. In this article, efforts are made to propose a new duo-stage framework context IF set better circumvent Often, makers (DMs) hesitate provide certain values that filled randomly, resulting inaccuracies process. To alleviate issue, systematic procedure developed sensibly fills missing data first stage. Following stage, determined by extending Cronbach's alpha coefficient context. Furthermore, repair inconsistent iteratively. second aggregation operator presented for DMs' preferences. Also, mathematical model proposed criteria weight estimation, ranking objects. The practical use demonstrated using numerical example, strengths weaknesses investigated.

Spatial Multicriteria Decision Making

DEFINITION Multicriteria analysis is generally defined as “a decision-aid and a mathematical tool allowing the comparison of different alternatives or scenarios according to many criteria, often conflicting, in order to guide the decision maker towards a judicious choice” [12]. The set of decision alternatives considered in a given problem is often denoted by A and called the set of potential a...

Group Decision Making: From Consistency to Consensus

In group decision making (GDM) processes, prior to the selection of the best alternative(s), it would be desirable that experts achieve a high degree of consensus or agreement between them. Due to the complexity of most decision making problems, individuals’ preferences may not satisfy formal properties. ‘Consistency’ is one of such properties, and it is associated with the transitivity propert...

Multicriteria Group Decision Making in a Linguistic Environment

This paper presents a method for solving the multicriteria group decision making problem in an uncertain linguistic environment. To ensure an effective aggregation of the uncertain linguistic variables in multicriteria group decision making for adequately modeling the uncertainty and imprecision of the decision making process, an uncertain linguistic Choquet integral operator is proposed. A met...
