چکیده

Abstract Background Chrysanthemum ( morifolium ) black spot disease caused by Alternaria alternata is one of the plant’s most destructive diseases. Dual RNA-seq was performed to simultaneously assess their transcriptomes analyze potential interaction mechanism between two species, i.e., host and pathogen. Results C. A. were subjected dual at 1, 12, 24 h after inoculation, differential expression genes (DEGs) in both species identified. This analysis confirmed 153,532 DEGs chrysanthemum 14,932 , which involved plant-fungal interactions phytohormone signaling. Fungal such as toxin synthesis related enzyme cell wall degrading played important roles during infection. Moreover, a series key highly correlated with early, middle, or late infection stage identified, together regulatory network annotated Plant Resistance Genes database (PRGdb) Pathogen-Host Interactions (PHI-base). Highly identified stage, expanding our understanding interplay . Additionally, six each from selected for quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) assays validate output. Conclusions Collectively, data obtained this study enriches resources available research into that exist thereby providing theoretical basis development new cultivars resistance

Identification of Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) Self-Incompatibility

There has been a heated argument over self-incompatibilityof chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) among chrysanthemum breeders. In order to solve the argument, we investigated pistil receptivity, seed set, and compatible index of 24 chrysanthemum cultivars. It was found that the 24 cultivars averagely had 3.7-36.3 pollen grains germinating on stigmas at 24 hours after self-pollination throu...

Micropropagation of Chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum Morifolium) Using Shoot Tip as Explant

Chrysanthemum has been cultivated for more than 2000 years and today, it is the world’s second most economically important floricultural crop following the rose (Teixeira da silva, 2003). Due to high popularity and demand for chrysanthemum it has become one of the first commercial targets for Micro propagation and thus tissue culture can be utilized for its large scale production. Regeneration ...

Antimutagenic activity of flavonoids from Chrysanthemum morifolium.

A methanol extract from the flower heads of Chrysanthemum morifolium showed a suppressive effect on umu gene expression of the SOS response in Salmonella typhimurium TA1535/pSK1002 against the mutagen 2-(2-furyl)-3-(5-nitro-2-furyl)acrylamide (furylfuramide). The methanol extract was re-extracted with hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water. The ethyl acetate fraction showed a sup...

Investigation of the interactions between Chrysanthemum morifolium flowers extract and intestinal bacteria from human and rat.

Flos Chrysanthemi, dried flower of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat, has drawn much attention recently owing to its potential beneficial health effects for human. Flos Chrysanthemi products are usually taken orally and metabolized by intestinal microflora. However, there has been no investigation of the comprehensive metabolic profile of the Flos Chrysanthemi extract by intestinal flora owing to ...

A review of Alternaria alternata sensitivity.

Sensitivity to fungi is a major risk factor for the development of asthma. However, the prevalence of fungal sensitivity in asthma is not completely understood. Nonetheless upward of 80% of asthmatic patients may be sensitized to one or more fungi. Fungal exposure occurs primarily from outdoors sources, but can occur in the indoor environment as well. Assessment of fungal exposure requires a mu...
