Crops drought tolerance is a trait of outmost importance for agriculture especially today when climate change affecting more the production food and feed. The scope this article to evaluate in vitro stress response Nicotiana tabacum L., “Baladi”. experiment was set up four successive stages starting with seedling development, hypocotyl cultivation, three generations micropropagation, pre-acclimatization acclimatization. effect abscisic acid (ABA) and/or polyethylene-glycol 6000 (PEG) on tobacco caulogenesis micropropagation were investigated.
