Powder deposition and accumulation on walls of spray drying chamber has been known to impact processes, resulting in lower yield, frequent shutdowns, downtimes. Critical factors that the extent rate wall have studied extensively chemical food industry. In this paper, we present an atypical process yield issue wherein acceptable is obtained during first batch but undergoes significant loss consecutive batches. Through understanding interplay process, material properties, equipment, identify key mechanisms are playing a role causing issue.
