Driving behavior oriented torque demand regulation for electric vehicles with single pedal driving

چکیده
Driving behaviors, induced by psychological activities and environment stimulation, impose the dominant impact on vehicle driving performance. To exhaustively improve performance of electric vehicles (EVs), information unscrambled from various behaviors is recommended to be incorporated into controlling process. In this context, a novel method presented regulate torque demand EVs with single pedal (SPD) efficiently interpreting intention different for eco driving. Specifically, brand-new behavior identifier (DBI) constructed integrally employing binary dragonfly algorithm (BDA) adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system particle swarm optimization (ANFIS-PSO). Simultaneously, whale (WOA) generates look-up tables (TDLTs) offline under SPD referring constraints drivability energy efficiency. instant implementation, are identified instantaneously DBI, homologous TDLTs assigned controller, thereby attaining efficient control powertrain. A case study about traction performed validate prospective optimal proposed further evaluate behaviors.

Electric vehicles and driving patterns
The magnitude of personal travel in the industrialised society has increased tremendously. In Sweden, the average travelled distance per person is currently around 40 km per day (see Figure 10.1). Travelling distances are related to speed. Studies show that the time spent on travel tends to be relatively constant at around one hour a day on average. The historical development of new transport t...
متن کاملAdaptive Driving Situation Characterization for Predicting the Driving Load of Electric Vehicles in Uncertain Environments
Battery powered electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a promising solution for reducing the consumption of fossil fuels in modern transportation systems. Unfortunately the battery pack has a low energy storage capacity, which causes the driving range of the EV to become very limited. It is therefore essential to properly characterize the different driving situations of the vehicle in order to...

Emerging green-energy transportation, such as hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and plug-in HEVs (PHEVs), has a great potential for reduction of fuel consumption and greenhouse emissions. The lithium-ion battery system used in these vehicles, however, is bulky, expensive and unreliable, and has been the primary roadblock for transportation electrification. Meanwhile, few studies have considered u...

متن کاملToward More Realistic Driving Behavior Models for Autonomous Vehicles in Driving Simulators
Autonomous vehicles are one of the most, if not the most, encountered elements in a driving simulator. Their impact on the realism of the simulator is critical. For autonomous vehicles to contribute positively to the realism of the hosting driving simulator, they need to have realistic appearance and, possibly more importantly, realistic behavior. This paper addresses the problem of modeling re...
