چکیده

The detection and tracking of small targets under low signal-to-clutter ratio (SCR) has been a challenging task for infrared search track (IRST) systems. Track-before-detect (TBD) is widely-known algorithm which can solve this problem. However, huge computation costs storage requirements limit its application. To address these issues, dynamic programming (DP) multiple hypothesis testing (MHT)-based dim point target (DP–MHT–TBD) proposed. It consists three parts. (1) For each pixel in current frame, the second power optimal merit function-based DP designed performed eight areas to find area that contains real trajectory. (2) In area, parallel MHT model save tree-structured trajectory space, two-stage strategy mitigate contradiction between redundant trajectories more SCR. After constant false alarm segmentation energy accumulation map, preliminary candidate points be obtained. (3) method eliminate alarms. work, an efficient pixel, greatly reduces space. A model, pruning space avoided all processed parallel, further reduce exponentially. This computational complexity saves improving engineering application TBD method. DP–MHT–TBD not only takes advantage amount high accuracy exhaustive but also utilizes novel structure. detect single when SCR 1.5 with probability above 90% rate below 0.01%.

Multiple single pixel dim target detection in infrared image sequence

It is difficult to detect and classify multiple point targets in the presence of clutter and noise, in air borne IR image sequence. Most existing approaches assume target of several pixels size or of Gaussian shape with variance of 1.5 pixel. We propose a wavelet based detection technique for multiple single pixel dim targets in IR image sequence in the presence of clutter and noise. Temporal m...

Fast Algorithm of Infrared Point Target Detection in Fluctuant Background

The background estimation approach using a small window median filter is presented on the bases of analyzing IR point target, noise and clutter model. After simplifying the two-dimensional filter, a simple method of adopting one-dimensional median filter is illustrated to make estimations of background according to the characteristics of IR scanning system. The adaptive threshold is used to seg...

Dim Target Detection System Based on DSP

The research on distributed system’s dim target detection and tracking is very important to improve the performance of infrared guard system. When the image background is very intricate, and there are few pels of targets, it is very hard to check the target. An local texture analysis method which is very fit for dim target detection in low signal to noise rate was adopted to realize the detecti...

A New Method for Sperm Detection in Infertility Cure: Hypothesis Testing Based on Fuzzy Entropy Decision

In this paper, a new method is introduced for sperm detection in microscopic images for infertility treatment. In this method, firstly a hypothesis testing function is defined to separate sperms from plasma, non-sperm semen particles and noise. Then, some primary candidates are selected for sperms by watershed-based segmentation algorithm. Finally, candidates are either confirmed or rejected us...
