Dormant and active emotional states

Abstract The paper is concerned with the metaphysics of emotion. It defends claim that all emotional states, whether dormant or active, are dispositional, arguing against prevailing view dispositional states dispositions to go into actual states. A clear distinction may be made between first-order and second-order dispositions, where sensitivity themselves. Active treated as in process being manifested, not different altogether. Describing active occurrent misleading it suggests an exclusive active/occurrent which what questioned. idea have no subjectivity challenged, argument flooded a feeling result encounter frightening aggravating situation cannot manifestation disposition.
