چکیده

It is desirable to develop highly efficient and sustainable catalytic systems for CO2 photoreduction using heterogeneous photosensitizers (PSs); however, this remains a great challenge. In study, we doped [Ru(bpy)3]2+ into UiO-metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) facilitate the separation reuse of noble metal PS. By simply adjusting loading amount, series photoactive MOFs, namely, UiO-Ru-1, UiO-Ru-2, UiO-Ru-3, were constructed act as PSs drive under visible-light irradiation. Remarkably, UiO-Ru-2 exhibited best photosensitizing ability among prepared MOFs in sensitizing iron quarterpyridine catalyst (C-1), CO yield reached high 171 mmol/g with ca. 100% selectivity, which record value all MOF-based photocatalysts. This MOF can be recycled reused three times without any obvious activity loss, signifying its good photochemical stability. Experimental investigations confirmed that strong visible absorption, long-lived excited state, appropriate redox potential, photocatalytic stability, excellent collaboration C-1 attributable superior activity. work highlights an avenue constructing recyclability platform reduction.

Enhancement of Methane Adsorption by Lithium Doping into Metal-Organic Framework Cu-BDC

Copper (II) carboxylate, (Cu-BDC), metal-organic-framework (MOF) has been synthesized undersolvothermalconditions and used as a new adsorbent for the methane. The Lithium doping intoCu-BDC, (Li-Cu-BDC), is made by impregnating Cu-BDC with an ethanol solution ofLiNO3, followed by heat treatment in vacuum. The adsorbent was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared ...

Synthesis of Nanoporous Metal Organic Framework MIL-53-Cu and Its Application for Gas Separation

MIL-53-Cu has been synthesized hydrothermally and has been used for the first time for gas separation. MIL-53-Cu shows adsorption capacities of 8.1, 0.7 and 0.5 m.mol/g, respectively, for CH4, CO2 and H2 at 30 bar and 298 K. The high CH4 adsorption capacity of MIL-53-Cu maybe attributed to the high pore volume and large number of open metal sites....

Metal-organic framework materials as nano photocatalyst

Photocatalytic degradation of toxic organic compound in water, soil and air by semiconductor catalysts such as TiO2 and ZnO have received much attention over the last two decades. However, the low quantum yield, easy agglomeration and difficult post-separation of these inorganic catalysts limit their application for large-scale applications. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are the latest class ...
