چکیده

Rhizosphere soil microorganisms are significant factors affecting plant growth, especially that of saline–alkali tolerant plants in the desert ecosystem. We performed high-throughput sequencing order to identifying fungal community structures and their relationships physicochemical properties different layers for plant, Anabasis aphylla, its natural environment. The number unique operational taxonomic units (OTUs) found bulk 0–20 cm layer contributed biggest percentage (24.13%) overall amount OTUs. Pyrosequencing Reveals Fungal Communities in the Rhizosphere of Xinjiang Jujube

Fungi are important soil components as both decomposers and plant symbionts and play a major role in ecological and biogeochemical processes. However, little is known about the richness and structure of fungal communities. DNA sequencing technologies allow for the direct estimation of microbial community diversity, avoiding culture-based biases. We therefore used 454 pyrosequencing to investiga...

Fungal Communities in Rhizosphere Soil under Conservation Tillage Shift in Response to Plant Growth

Conservation tillage is an extensively used agricultural practice in northern China that alters soil texture and nutrient conditions, causing changes in the soil microbial community. However, how conservation tillage affects rhizosphere and bulk soil fungal communities during plant growth remains unclear. The present study investigated the effect of long-term (6 years) conservation (chisel plow...

Nitrogen fertilizer dose alters fungal communities in sugarcane soil and rhizosphere

Fungi play important roles as decomposers, plant symbionts and pathogens in soils. The structure of fungal communities in the rhizosphere is the result of complex interactions among selection factors that may favour beneficial or detrimental relationships. Using culture-independent fungal community profiling, we have investigated the effects of nitrogen fertilizer dosage on fungal communities i...

Functional Potential of Soil Microbial Communities in the Maize Rhizosphere

Microbial communities in the rhizosphere make significant contributions to crop health and nutrient cycling. However, their ability to perform important biogeochemical processes remains uncharacterized. Here, we identified important functional genes that characterize the rhizosphere microbial community to understand metabolic capabilities in the maize rhizosphere using the GeoChip-based functio...

Analysis of Rhizosphere Fungal Communities Using rRNA and rDNA

Soils and soil-borne microbial communities are probably the greatest source of organismal diversity on Earth. In this soil matrix, plant roots and the soil impacted by those roots – the rhizosphere – host a great diversity of fungi. Fungal community composition in soil and rhizosphere has been assessed by growing fungi from environmental samples in different pure culture media. These studies ha...
