چکیده

This paper provides a high-accuracy assessment of domestic demand-side management (DSM) approach in the context distributed renewable energy sources (RES). To determine potential DSM for households, microgrid model typical UK residential estate was developed to simulate impact RES. The comprises 15 households with appropriate allocation washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers accordance statistical data. In order obtain result, power consumption utilises real historical high-resolution data household RES generation. Thereafter, 40% wind solar is implemented produce two individual scenarios. operation white appliances controlled using based on load shifting algorithm. primary criterion considered this reduction feedback grid decrease utilisation reduce transmission losses. results obtained from simulation are compared baseline discussed respect possible benefits implementation under It has been shown that self-consumption ratio operating increased by 3% both analysis highly realistic which can be used efficiency various methods.

Microgrid Management with a High Share of Renewable Energy Sources

In order to validate the different functions of a low voltage microgrid, a specific test configuration has been set up in the Design Centre for Modular Systems Technology (“DeMoTec”) of the Institut für Solare Energieversorgungstechnik (ISET). In this highly innovative microgrid configuration, the grid control is distributed among three distant inverters which are not linked by any fast communi...
