چکیده
The incorporation of ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.; RG), a winter manure, could partly replace chemical N and reduce loss during the succeeding rice seasons, but little is known about its impact on greenhouse gas emission. This study investigated effect different RG-urea substitution ratios (0% RG 100% urea, 25% 75% 50% 0% urea,) net C mineralization, CH4 N2O emissions in paddy soil. Gas samples for fluxes were collected by using closed chamber determined chromatograph method. Net mineralization from incorporated residue tested mesh bag followed single exponential decay model, with 95.5%-97.8% original 98.7%-99.3% released 192 days. ratio increased emission, was negatively correlated In comparison substitution, global warming potential (GWP) intensity (GHGI) not significantly substitutions, higher substitutions (P < 0.05). Soil redox, remaining litter key characteristics explaining while NH4+-N NO3−-N GWP emission after be offset reduction when or less.

Factors Related with CH4 and N2O Emissions from a Paddy Field: Clues for Management implications
Paddy fields are major sources of global atmospheric greenhouse gases, including methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). The different phases previous to emission (production, transport, diffusion, dissolution in pore water and ebullition) despite well-established have rarely been measured in field conditions. We examined them and their relationships with temperature, soil traits and plant bioma...
متن کاملCO2, CH4 and N2O production potential of paddy soil after biogas byproducts application under waterlogged condition
The increase in the biofuel production has generated a lot of byproducts. These are rich in various plant nutrients. The laboratory incubation can provide an idea of their effects on soil and environment, and fertilizer applicability before field application. In the present study, two types of biogas byproducts were selected as biochar and digested liquid. Two concentrations of each was applied...
متن کاملEffects of Winter Cover Crops Straws Incorporation on CH4 and N2O Emission from Double-Cropping Paddy Fields in Southern China
Residue management in cropping systems is believed to improve soil quality. However, the effects of residue management on methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from paddy field in Southern China have not been well researched. The emissions of CH4 and N2O were investigated in double cropping rice (Oryza sativa L.) systems with straw returning of different winter cover crops by using th...
متن کاملEvidence for Heterosis in Italian Ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) Based on Inbreeding Depression in F2 Generation Offspring from Biparental Crosses
Italian ryegrass is one of the most important temperate forage grasses on a global basis. Improvement of both dry matter yield and quality of herbage have been major objectives of pasture grass breeding over the last century. F1 and F2 progeny sets derived from controlled pair-crosses between selected Italian ryegrass genotypes have been evaluated for yield and nutritive quality under field con...
