Does Peer-Assisted Instruction for Physics Help Improve Student Learning?

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a teaching method adopted by academic institutions to strengthen and extend learning opportunities beyond regular classroom lectures. The supplemental instructor junior or senior-level student with track record of sound knowledge the material works closely students seeking help. SI leader free provide different teaching/learning strategies foster problem-solving skills critical thinking behavior. While instructors are independent in conducting sessions, they work course instructor. In this work, we investigate efficacy model college physics compare university at Southern Arkansas University using data from ten years. Furthermore, discuss how additional pedagogy elucidates successful completion class, retention department/university, overall success through peers’ support.
