In pursuant to sustainable economic growth on the ticket of FDI-led hypothesis, government Ghana has instituted a myriad thoughtful policy reforms help boost economy realize self-sustaining growth. To some extent, policies might have paid off as country was named highest recipient FDI in West Africa 2018. However, supposed upsurge inflow foreign direct investment and its expected long-run spillover benefits not been tangibly felt region continues oscillate. Therefore, this study utilized two methods; autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL) variance decomposition method (VDM) empirically examine function (FDI) whiles controlling for exchange rate, financial development, trade oppeness employment rate. The results endorses by indicating that positive long run causal impact flows from findings VDM test affirm are robust reliable. suggests should amplify via like incentives draw more investors directly into other sectors than conventional gratified investors.
