Does folate deficiency alter sperm parameters in infertile males?

Introduction: There is not enough evidence regarding the influence of folate deficiency in etiology idiopathic male infertility. Objectives: The objective current study was to examine whether there an association between serum levels and sperm parameters among infertile males. Patients Methods: This cross-sectional undertaken on a sample males referring infertility treatment clinic Isfahan province, Iran. Semen parameters, comprising concentration, progressive/total motility, morphology, semen leukocyte, agglutination, vitality were assessed based standard protocols. DNA fragmentation assay (SDFA) chromatin maturity (SCMA) also by dispersion aniline-blue tests respectively. Results: In general, 70 including 46 with sufficient level 24 insufficient examined.
