Does digital literacy influence students’ online risk? Evidence from Covid-19

چکیده

Abstract The adoption of online-based learning and the internet has had both a positive impact on students. This study aims to understand how digital literacy, parental mediation, self-control affects online risk during Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. paper elaborated quantitative method with SEM-PLS raise comprehension phenomenon studied. A questionnaire was voluntarily responded approximately 300 elementary school students who engaged learning. structural equation modeling estimation indicates that influences risk. However, mediation failed promoting students' self-control. These findings suggest literacy needs be penetrated reduce teaching process. is first step for schools parents' alertness assisting considering appropriate safe media using technology.
