Do Intrinsic Rewards Matter on Motivation?

Purpose- This study investigates the impact of intrinsic rewards (Recognition, Training and Development, Work Environment, Participation in Decision Making, Workplace Flexibility) on primary school teachers’ motivation at workplace. Design/Methodology- A survey was conducted using a 5 Likert scale questionnaire among teachers different schools across Bangladesh. total 200 data gathered through random sampling. SPSS 22.0 is used for analyzing data. The employed multiple regression ANOVA, correlation, reliability test, descriptive statistics to draw findings. Findings- revealed that have significant effect motivation. All studied variables found statistically relationship with Motivation. Moreover, recognition work environment showed most robust relationships Practical Implications- Organizations can use this study's results comprehend or non-financial employee Thus, research findings could help similar institutions design an appropriate reward package adequate motivate their employees ensure better performance work.
