چکیده

Natural dyes have been used from ancient times for multiple purposes, most importantly in the field of textile dying. The increasing demand and excessive costs natural dye extraction engendered discovery synthetic petrochemical compounds. Nowadays, they are dominating market, with nearly 8 × 105 tons produced per year due to their wide range color pigments consistent coloration. Textile industries consume huge amounts water dyeing processes, making it hard treat enormous quantities this hazardous wastewater. Thus, harmful impacts when discharged non-treated or partially treated forms environment (air, soil, plants water), causing several human diseases. In present work we focused on dyes. We started by studying classification which depended nature manufactured fiber (cellulose, protein dyes). Then, mentioned characteristics dyes, however, more negative ecosystem (soil, plants, air) humans. Lastly, discussed applied physical, chemical biological strategies solely combination wastewater treatments. Additionally, described newly established nanotechnology achieves complete discharge decontamination.

Decolorisation of synthetic dyes and textile wastewater using Polyporus rubidus.

Effluent from textile industries were treated with enzyme from white rot fungi isolated from outskirts of Mumbai and identified as Polyporus rubidus in our laboratory. Decolorisation of 4 Reactive dyes commonly found in the effluents such as Reactive bue, Reactive orange, Ramazol black and Congo red was examined by treatment with enzyme from Polyporus rubidus. Treatment of effluent was done in ...

Decolourisation of synthetic textile dyes by Phlebia tremellosa.

Phlebia tremellosa decolourised eight synthetic textile dyes (200 mg l(-1)) by greater than 96% within 14 days under stationary incubation conditions. High performance liquid chromatography analysis of culture supernatants indicated that Remazol Black B was degraded by the fungus, however, complete mineralisation did not occur as a colourless organic breakdown product accumulated. Laccase activ...

Treatment of Synthetic Textile Wastewater by Combination of Coagulation/Flocculation Process and Electron Beam Irradiation

Introduction: Textile wastewaters from dyeing and finishing processes are heavily polluted with dyes, textile auxiliaries and chemicals and have a broad range of pH, high COD concentration and suspended particles. In this study, the efficiency of color and turbidity removal from synthetic textile wastewater samples were investigated by combined process of coagulation/ flocculation and electron ...

Underwater Diaphragm Discharge for Textile Treatment

Underwater plasma discharge is used for surface activation of polypropylene nonwoven fabrics with subsequent immobilisation of silver or copper. Plasma generated at atmospheric pressure is preferred as this is a low cost and environmental considerate technique in comparison with other techniques. At the same time, the antibacterial properties of silver and copper are well known. The underwater ...
