Diversity of Butterflies (Ordo Lepidoptera) and Flower Plants in Mount Muria Kudus, Central Java

Indonesia is a megadiverse country. Butterflies become one of the Indonesian diversities. has second-highest butterfly species in world with more than 2000 species. Flower plants are used by butterflies as hostplants and foodplant. The aims this research were to know butterflies’ diversity food Mount Muria at Kudus City, Central Java. quadran sampling transect method three stations (along 2 km). was conducted March June 2020. tools insect net, termohigrometer, lux meter, digital camera, roll GPS, ja,r identification book. Data on analyzed Shannon-Wiener (H’), Evenness index (E), Relative Abundance (Pi), Simpson Dominance Index (D), Density (KR) Frequency (FR), Important Value (IVI). Results showed that least 40 six family found Mt. Muria. area medium diversity, evenness, low dominance. Leptosia nina highest relative abundance, frequency, density IVI (Important Index). frequently feeding flowers foodplants. 31 flower most plant foodplants Lantana camara, Chromolaena odorata from Verbenaceae Asteraceae.
