District-Heating-Grid Simulation in Python: DiGriPy
نویسندگان
چکیده
DiGriPy is a newly developed Python tool for the simulation of district heating networks published as open-source software in GitHub and offered package on PyPI. It enables user to easily build network model, run large-scale demand time series, automatically compare different temperature-control conditions. In this paper, implementation details usage instructions are given. Tests showing results scenarios presented interpreted.

Thermo - hydraulic simulation of district heating networks
Current developments of the European energy markets are influencing the operation strategy of heat suppliers. Especially providers of district heating systems fed by conventional heat production (i.e. CHP) have to react with appropriate measures to these changes. The integration of thermal storages, decentralization of the heat production, changing heating technologies or adjusting the temperat...

This paper is published by Euroheat & Power. Our aim is to inform about district heating and cooling as efficient and environmentally benign energy solutions that make use of resources that otherwise would be wasted, delivering reliable and comfortable heating and cooling in return.
متن کاملSimulation Models to Size and Retrofit District Heating Systems
District heating networks are considered as convenient systems to supply heat to consumers while reducing CO2 emissions and increasing renewable energies use. However, to make them as profitable as possible, they have to be developed, operated and sized carefully. In order to cope with these objectives, simulation tools are required to analyze several configuration schemes and control methods. ...
متن کاملThermal Transients in District Heating Systems
Heat fluxes in a district heating pipeline systems need to be controlled on the scale from minutes to an hour to adjust to evolving demand. There are two principal ways to control the heat flux keep temperature fixed but adjust velocity of the carrier (typically water) or keep the velocity flow steady but then adjust temperature at the heat producing source (heat plant). We study the latter sce...
متن کاملSimulation O F Inductive Heating Simulation of Inductive Heating
Induction heating is a process whereby heat is generated in electrically conducting materials through ohmic losses from eddy currents induced by varying electromagnetic fields. This phenomenon can be described by a heat transfer equation and an eddy current equation. These two equations are coupled because most of the material properties are temperature-dependent. In this report a description i...
