Distortion models for estimating human error probabilities

چکیده

Human Reliability Analysis aims at identifying, quantifying and proposing solutions to human factors causing hazardous consequences. Quantifying the influence of gives rise error probabilities, whose estimation is a cumbersome problem. Since these are usually related other organisational or technological factors, it has been proposed apply probabilistic graphical models, such as Bayesian credal networks. However, can be problematic when conditional probabilities on missing data involved. While so far combine frequentist subjective approaches in general not robust small modifications dataset, this paper we propose an alternative based distortion which type imprecise probabilities. We perform comparative analysis, showing that our proposal consistent with previous studies while giving estimations.

Exponential Models: Approximations for Probabilities

Welch & Peers (1963) used a root-information prior to obtain posterior probabilities for a scalar parameter exponential model and showed that these Bayes probabilities had the confidence property to second order asymptotically. An important undercurrent of this indicates that the constant information reparameterization provides location model structure, for which the confidence property ...

Estimating Error Propagation Probabilities in Software Architectures

The study of software architectures is emerging as an important discipline in software engineering, due to its emphasis on large scale composition of software products, and its support for emerging software engineering paradigms such as product line engineering, component based software engineering, and software evolution. Architectural attributes differ from code-level software attributes in t...

Questioning Human Error Probabilities in Railways

Human errors are regarded as one of the main causes for railway accidents these days. In spite of this fact, the consideration of human error probabilities in quantified risk analyses has been very rudimentary up to now. A lack of comprehensive data and analyses in literature lead to the use of estimations and values from other industries. This paper discusses the transferability of human error...

Human Error Probabilities Computation for Manufacturing System Simulation Using Cream

Uncertainties in production and assembly processes have a significant influence on performance. When one speaks about uncertainties, in most of the cases it implies machine breakdowns, defective items or different uncertainties in procurement. However, especially in manual production, each realistic model should also take into account and treat human related uncertainties. Unfortunately, in con...

Error Probabilities for Halfspace Depth

Data depth functions are a generalization of one-dimensional order statistics and medians to real spaces of dimension greater than one; in particular, a data depth function quantifies the centrality of a point with respect to a data set or a probability distribution. One of the most commonly studied data depth functions is halfspace depth. It is of interest to computational geometers because it...
