Disability Unit Practitioners at Stellenbosch University: Covid?19 Pandemic Reflections

As reflective practitioners working in disability inclusion, we constantly work with shifting realities concerning our students, who are not a homogenous group. The coronavirus pandemic (Covid?19) was reality least expected 2020, yet used flexible approach to make the transition as smooth possibly could. Disability Unit (DU) is one of five units located within Centre for Student Counselling and Development at Stellenbosch University (SU) falls responsibility centre Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Teaching Learning. DU founded 2007 15 years old 2021. We aim foster inclusion transformative framework SU, main focus on students disabilities. Our wider universal access, which includes towards removal cultural, social, language barriers higher education context. guided by Access Policy (2018) SU. Since latter part March had shift online teaching learning.
