Digital surface scanning in flap perfusion
نویسندگان
چکیده
Monitoring vascular perfusion of transferred tissue is essential in reconstructive surgery to recognize early flap failure. The aim this study was evaluate the ability a digital surface scanner detect disorders through monitoring skin colour changes. A total 160 scans forearm were performed with TRIOS 3D scanner. Vascular compromise simulated at different time-points by intermittent occlusion blood supply (first arterial and then venous supply). Skin changes examined according hue, saturation, value scale. Colour differences analysed paired t-test. Significant observed between normal that compromised (P < 0.01). could distinguish congestion scan an objective, non-invasive tool skin.

Attenuation correction in myocardial perfusion SPECT using sequential transmission - emission scanning with 99mTc [Persain]
Introduction: Nowadays, Imaging of the myocardial perfusion (MPI) using the single photon emission tomography (SPET) in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease, especially myocardial ischemia, is of great importance. In contrast to the coronary artery angiography, MPI is non-invasive, less expensive and more physiological. Unfortunately, this image is affected by the some artifacts. Thes...
متن کاملLung perfusion scanning in hepatic cirrhosis.
Abnormal lung perfusion scans using radioactive particles were found in five out of six cases of hepatic cirrhosis with arterial hypoxaemia. None had clinical evidence of cardiopulmonary disease or signs of pulmonary embolism on arteriography. The scan defects are probably caused by a disorder of the pulmonary microvasculature, which may show regional variation in severity.

This research is part of a Swiss National Science Foundation project on “Mass Balance Determination of Glaciers with the Use of State-of-the-art Remote Sensing Methods and a Numerical Flow Model”. Remote sensing involves automated processing of aerial images and laser scanning and aims at producing glacier surface models with an accuracy of about 0·5-1 m in time periods of 1-5 years. The Untera...
متن کاملDigital perfusion phantoms for visual perfusion validation.
OBJECTIVE Despite the increasingly broad use of perfusion applications, we still have no generally accessible means for their verification: The common sense of perfusion maps and "bona fides" of perfusion software vendors remain the only grounds for acceptance. Thus, perfusion applications are one of a very few clinical tools considerably lacking practical objective hands-on validation. MATER...
