In the digital era, large archives of information and Internet accessibility make search, including image easier affordable, even from remote locations. Information transmission sharing can be performed instantly, at any moment. case images, there are risks transmitting recklessly intentionally modified images. Such images also transmitted used as an additional source by followers. this study, historical portraits Yu Kil-Chun shown, who was first Korean student to study in both Japan United States. He intellectual, writer, politician, independence activist Koreaâ??s late Joseon Dynasty. Using processing software, portrait were compared investigate aging effects artificial modifications. Statistics red (R), green (G), blue (B), L*, a*, b* values every pixel selected identical areas identify possible causes variations, Sepia toning, black white photographs until 1930s, modern sepia toning very confusing owing their effects.
