Digital competence of Russian university teachers

This research paper presents the results of author’s survey aimed at assessing digital competence modern university teachers. The relevance competencies is becoming more and obvious due to transformations in activities educational organizations. These changes concern use technologies not only management, but also directly process. development distance learning remote interaction formats an objective reality world. purpose this article make attempt a teacher’s level based on general perception his/her abilities used professional activities. author analyses teachers’ readiness their attitude learning. study showed that majority interviewed teachers have high basic universal competencies. It was found most respondents already experience taking online courses improve skills. analysis makes it possible conclude who participated demonstrate supposed give complete picture all Russian level, since requires both greater coverage other channels (beyond digital) collect data within survey. At same time, allows formulate ideas for improving which nowadays becomes key effectiveness. can be when working out universities’ personnel programs order ensure higher competence.
