Different organic mulch materials affect the abundance of enchytraeids in an open-field experiment

چکیده
Organic mulch may provide favourable soil conditions e.g. moisture or organic matter content, which enhance the number of enchytraeids. However, there is no sufficient information about relationship between plant-based and this beneficial animal group. Therefore, an open-field experiment was conducted with tomato as a test plant to examine effect different types materials on natural occurence Our study microplots received following treatments: 1) yard-waste compost, 2) walnut leaf litter, 3) mixed litter without 4) wheat straw. Control were left unmulched. Randomized block design used eight replications treatments four control. At end growing season, three samples taken from root zone each split corer, enchytraeids extracted by wet funnel method. Living counted under dissecting microscope, their density values estimated. Worms identified in five randomly selected treatment. In addition, determined oven-drying well. Mulch material had significantly effects both Enchytraeid moisture. Under straw cover, higher numbers individuals found. case mulching highest value, while compost uncovered surfaces lowest. It appears that serve food source for enchytraeid communities

the effect of authentic listening materials on the listening proficiency of efl learners in the intermediate level
having conducted the experiment and analysed the data, the researcher computed the groups mean scores and variances for the test relating to the research question. as the final atep, a t-test was conodonted for the hypothesis. as noted earlier, the significance level was determined at .05 and .01 respectively. the observed t-value was higher than the critical t-value at. 5 and .01 levels. conse...

focus on communication in iranian high school language classes: a study of the role of teaching materials in changing the focus onto communication in language classes

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
Field emission from organic materials
Field emission displays (FEDs) show great promise as high performance flat panel displays. The light emission process is efficient, long lifetimes are possible with high brightness, and bright passive matrix displays can be built. Because passive matrix displays don’t need a transistor backplane, it was once thought that these displays would be cheaper to fabricate than their competitors. It is...
