Differences in Teacher Burnout Between Schools: Exploring the Effect of Proactive Strategies on Burnout Trajectories

Differences in teacher burnout between schools are likely to occur due differences the quantity and quality of interaction within schools. Multilevel latent growth curve analyses symptoms were performed on three-wave longitudinal data collected from 2,619 teachers 75 Finland. The results showed that pronounced cynicism, followed by emotional exhaustion. Organizational factors not strong predictors burnout. Proactive co-regulation strategies related lower levels teachers’ cynicism about professional community, implying they might be useful preventing at school level.
