چکیده
Little information on the effects of a high α-linolenic acid (C18:3n-3) diet fatty composition and lipid-producing gene expression in hepatopancreas from Yellow River carp (Cyprinus carpio). In study, 60 common juveniles were fed for 50 days, supplemented with linseed oil (LO), control without addition to evaluate effect lipid peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPAR-α), delta-6 desaturase (delta-6-Fad), stearoyl-CoA-desaturase (SCD), desaturase-5 (Elovl5) hepatopancreas. The results showed that increased levels C20:4n-6, C18:3n-3, C20:5n-3, C22:5n-3 observed LO treated PPAR-α, delta-6-Fad Elovl5 was up-regulated carp’s (P < 0.05), while SCD down-regulated. conclusion, affected (SCD, PPAR, delta-6-Fad, Elov15) involved regulating (FA) profile carp. It is suggested Elovl5, PPAR-α be essential messengers responsible translating nutritional stimuli into changes

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio
The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...

Distribution ! e common carp [Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus (1758)] has been one of the oldest domesticated species of fi sh for food. Culture of carp in China dates back to at least the 5th century BC, although domestication began much later. ! e European races of carp derived from wild carp of the Danube; the earliest attempts date back to the Roman Empire and spread of Christianity in Europe, fro...
متن کاملTissue-Specific Fatty Acids Response to Different Diets in Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio L.)
Fish depend on dietary fatty acids (FA) to support their physiological condition and health. Exploring the FA distribution in common carp (Cyprinus carpio), one of the world's most consumed freshwater fish, is important to understand how and where FA of different sources are allocated. We investigated diet effects on the composition of polar and neutral lipid fatty acids (PLFA and NLFA, respect...
متن کاملNeurotoxicity in Young Carp (cyprinus Carpio L.)
For years scientists have suspected that the environment plays a role in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. Mycotoxin fumonisin B 1 (FB 1 ) is produced by several Fusarium species, mainly by Fusarium verticilioides, which is one of the most common fungi associated with corn worldwide. Fumonisins are known to cause equine leukoenc...
متن کاملDifferentially Gene Expression in the Brain of Common Carp ( Cyprinus carpio ) Response to Cold Acclimation
There are a variety of approaches to identify groups of genes that change in expression in response to a particular stimulus or environment. We here describe the application of suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) for isolation and identification genes in the brain of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) under cold temperatures. The materials were prepared through cooling the hybrid F2 of purse...
