This paper proposes a dielectric slabs-based lens for millimeter-wave beamforming systems. The proposed is based on the graded steps of effective refractive index semi-spherical lens. It consists multiple slabs that match selected gradient index. These have same thicknesses and different radii. slab thickness in this should not exceed quarter operating wavelength to keep similar original A horn antenna used examine performance designed at 28 GHz frequency terms maximum gain, sidelobe level, 3 dB beamwidth. Sixteen switchable antennas are demonstrate capability beamforming. Every single element individually, thus steers enhances corresponding radiation desired direction.
