چکیده

In this study, microstructure evolution and dielectric properties of SrTiO3 ceramic have been investigated, whereby mechanical activation powders was used to modify the functional materials. Microstructural SEM analysis ceramics showed that increase in time results less porous samples. Raman spectroscopy indicated changes broadening asymmetry TO2 mode with a change activation. Fano due its interaction polarization fluctuations polar micro-regions, which are consequence presence oxygen vacancies caused by The maximum value permittivity observed sample activated for 10 min. Also, min exhibits relatively low values loss tangent, compared other mechanically samples, providing best overall performance

Influence of stoichiometry on the dielectric properties of sputtered strontium titanate thin films

The dielectric permittivity, dielectric quality factor ~inverse dielectric loss!, and lattice parameter of 140 nm sputtered SrTiO3 films were dependent on the oxygen partial pressure and total chamber pressure (O21Ar) during film growth. Films were grown at 25 and 75 mTorr ~mT! in an oxygen rich and oxygen deficient sputtering gas environment concurrently on ~100! SrTiO3 and ~111! Pt/~0001! Al2...

Dielectric and pyroelectric properties of barium strontium titanate films on orthorhombic substrates with „110... / / „100... epitaxy

The role of anisotropic misfit strains on the spontaneous polarization, dielectric properties, and pyroelectric response of 110 oriented Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 BST 60/40 thin films on 100 orthorhombic substrates is analyzed theoretically. The anisotropic in-plane strain state and the rotation of the elastic and the electrostrictive constants of the BST 60/40 films result in strongly directional and uni...

The effect of stress on the dielectric properties of barium strontium titanate thin films

Barium strontium titanate thin films are being developed as capacitors in dynamic random access memories. These films, grown on silicon substrates, are under tensile residual stress. By a converse electrostrictive effect, the in-plane tensile stress reduces the capacitance in the thickness direction of the film. We measured the substrate curvature change upon the removal of the film, and found ...

Investigation the Effect of Niobium Oxide Additive on the Dielectric Properties of Bismuth Titanate

Bismuth titanate ceramic has been attracted as a lead-free ferroelectric due to its high Curie temperature in high temperature applications as well as high frequency applications. In this study, the effect of niobium oxide as an additive on the microstructure and dielectric properties of bismuth titanate ceramic was investigated. For this purpose, niobium oxide was added to bismuth titanate, sy...

Dc and Ac Electrical Properties of Ptc Barium Titanate Ceramics

The dc and ac electrical properties of PTC barium titanate ceramics were measured in the temperature range from 30 to 450°C. The Heywang's model alone is not sufficient to perform a quantitative analysis of the results. The heterogeneity of the system is taken into account.
