چکیده

Background: Inflammatory cytokines are related to the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Objectives: Interleukin 6 (IL-6) is associated with prognosis HCC, while Dicer inhibits HCC; accordingly, we checked whether regulates HCC by modulating IL-6 pathway. Methods: The cells SMMC-7721 transfected overexpression (pCMV-Dicer) control (pCMV-NC) lentivirus were divided into 3 groups: SMMC-7721, pCMV-NC, pCMV-Dicer groups. assays cell proliferation, migration, invasion performed using counting, wound scratch, transwell chamber assay. level was measured flow cytometry bead-based immunoassays. All statistical analyses analyzed SPSS version 21 student t test 1-way analysis variance (ANOVA). Results: inhibited secretion from cells, as well growth invasion. incubation pCMV-NC increased proliferation (from 24 hours 72 hours; P < 0.05), migration (P = 0.008), 0.85). In addition, could reverse inhibitory effect on 0.01) 0.006) when incubated whereas an blocker tocilizumab enhance Dicer-induced inhibition 0.007), 0.001) cells. Furthermore, increase efficiency apatinib treatment their cooperation in downregulation. Conclusions: inhibit pathway, which would be a potential target for treatment. inducer might enhancer

Celecoxib inhibits interleukin-6/interleukin-6 receptor-induced JAK2/STAT3 phosphorylation in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells.

Growing evidence shows an association between chronic liver inflammation and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development. STAT3, which is associated with inflammation and cellular transformation, is constitutively activated in human HCC tissues but not in normal human liver tissues. Although interleukin-6 (IL-6) is elevated in the serum of patients with HCC, it is not fully understood whether ST...

MicroRNA-345 inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis by inhibiting YAP1

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play critical roles in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the expression and biological function of miR-345 in HCC remain unknown. The present study demonstrated that miR-345 expression was reduced in HCC tissues and cell lines. Decreased miR-345 expression was associated with unfavorable clinical features and poor prognosis. In vitro functional assays showed that miR-3...

Pirfenidone Inhibits Proliferation and Promotes Apoptosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells by Inhibiting the Wnt/β-Catenin Signaling Pathway

BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most important cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Pirfenidone is an orally available small molecule with therapeutic potential for fibrotic diseases. MATERIAL AND METHODS In this study, we analyzed the effects of different pirfenidone concentrations on the proliferation of HepG2 HCC cells using Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) and colony format...

PCDH10 gene inhibits cell proliferation and induces cell apoptosis by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

Protocadherin10 (PCDH10), a member of the non‑clustered protocadherin (PCDH) family, functions as a tumor-suppressor gene in many cancers. Previous studies have demonstrated that the expression of PCDH10 was noticeably downregulated in the tissue and cells of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), when compared to those in normal liver tissue. The decreased PCDH10 expression in HCC was correlated with...

PRMT5 promotes cell proliferation by inhibiting BTG2 expression via the ERK signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma

Increasing evidence suggests that PRMT5, a protein arginine methyltransferase, has roles in cell growth regulation and cancer development. However, the role of PRMT5 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression remains unclear. Here, we showed that PRMT5 expression was frequently upregulated in HCC tissues, and its expression was inversely correlated with overall survival in HCC patients. PRMT...
