چکیده

Federation Clinical outcomes of solid organ transplantation depend on many factors. One the main factors is risk post-transplant complications, which affect allograft and recipient survival. Multifactorial damage in complications search for diagnostic prognostic indicators condition have contributed to study selection a wide range proteomic molecular genetic biomarkers, shown be effective transplantation. The use biomarkers opens up additional possibilities assessing their early diagnosis. This potentially reduces frequency invasive procedures. Transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) regulates biological processes, has anti-inflammatory immunosuppressive effects, participates immune response, plays key role extracellular matrix (ECM) protein synthesis. ECM dysregulation leads fibroblast hyperproliferation increased collagen synthesis and, consequently, tissue fibrosis. variability potential TGF-β1 been demonstrated studies recipients various organs. objective this review analyze recent evidence development assess its prospects as marker graft pathology or target therapy.

The Role of Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFβ1) in Nasal and Paranasal Sinuses Polyposis

Background and Objectives: Nasal polyposis is a diseases resulting from complex pathogenetic mechanisms. Some studies showed that TGFβ1 had significant role in this pathogenesis. In this study, we investigated the roe of cytokines and mediators in polyp development. Material and Methods: In this case- control study, healthy nasal mucosal samples were obtained from 24 peopl...

Plasma levels of Transforming Growth Factor Beta in HIV-1 patients with oral candidiasis

Background and Purpose: TGF-β is a potent regulator and suppressor of the immune system and overproduction of this cytokine may contribute to immunosuppression in HIV-infected patients. Increasing population of immunosuppressed patients has resulted in increasingly frequent of fungal infections, including oral candidiasis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the plasma levels of TGF-&bet...

Transforming growth factor-beta: recent progress and new challenges

I T is just 10 years since the peptide, transforming growth factor-/31 (TGF-~I) 1, was isolated from human platelets, human placenta, and bovine kidney and characterized as a discrete molecular entity, namely a 25-kD homodimer with a unique NH2-terminal sequence. Two years later this molecule was cloned, and subsequently four other closely related isoforms have been found in vertebrates; three ...

Expression of transforming growth factor-beta 1 and connective tissue growth factor in women with pelvic organ prolapse.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the presence of transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-ß1) and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in women with pelvic organ prolapse (POP). METHODS This study was conducted from May to December 2009. Fifty patients with POP that underwent vaginal hysterectomy in the Department of Gynecology, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Hubei, Wuhan, China were enrolled i...

Role of transforming growth factor β-1 in the pathogenesis of pelvic organ prolapse: A potential therapeutic target

The present study aimed to reveal the metabolic alterations of the extracellular matrix (ECM) in uterosacral ligament (USL) with pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and to explore the role of transforming growth factor‑β1 (TGF‑β1) in pathogenesis of POP. For this purpse, 60 participants who underwent hysterectomy for benign indications were enrolled, 30 of which had symptomatic POP (grade II, III or IV...
