Diagnosis and Management of Choledochal Cyst in One Year-Old Baby: A Case Report

Background: Choledochal cysts (CC) are rare congenital anomalies of the biliary tract. The classic triad jaundice, abdominal pain, and right upper quadrant mass symptoms, mainly in children adolescents. This study aimed to present diagnosis management choledochal cyst cases a baby girl.
 Case presentation: A 1-year-old girl, domiciled outside city Padang, was brought hospital by her parents with complaints repeated vomiting for 1 day before being admitted hospital. complaint has been accompanied yellowish eyes body, pale bowel movements, dark brown urine since 3 months ago. patient never doctor treatment. Since month ago, often feels pain abdomen lump abdomen. On area, there no distention, hepar ¼-1/4 sharp edge, tenderness at epicondrium rebound tenderness, turgor decreased, palpable mass. Abdominal ultrasonography presented duct obstruction. CT scan contrast revealed intrahepatic extrahepatic biliaryectasis et causa suggestive (Todani IVA) hepatomegaly. consulted pediatric surgery division further advised undergo Roux En-y procedure. Follow-up after underwent showed clinical improvement. Symptoms jaundice skin begin decrease, as brownish stools light urine.
 Conclusion: Surgical treatment Roux-en-Y procedure is definitive this patient.
