Tao Xingzhi was a student of American educator John Dewey. He generally absorbed Dewey’s educational philosophy in theory and practice, carried out reforms innovations based on the actual situation China. Thus he formed his own peculiar “life education” theory. There are fundamental differences between Dewey philosophy. Xingzhi’s thought is real life realistic materialistic view; an idealistic personal subjective experience. The comparison concepts has important practical significance for whether concept can be accurately evaluated used reference practice. international education competition 21st century not only economic forces, but also social productive forces.
