Abstract In machine tools, it is important to maintain accuracy against heat in the entire machining space. The reduction of thermal displacement achieved by measuring accurately and then clarify relationship between temperature change deformation creating prediction compensation model or applying countermeasure suppress deformation. To solve this issue, authors have developed methods measure two-dimensional space using a laser tracker cameras. A method higher smaller measurement uncertainty. Vision-based equivalent at shorter time lower cost. compensate displacement, convolutional neural network was developed. Thermal predicted from sensors with than conventional models. These contribute development precision tools.
