Development of School-based Mental Health Program

BACKGROUND: Mental health services for school-aged children can help prevent the emergence of more severe problems. AIM: This study aims to create a mental program children. METHODS: An action design was used, and implementation procedure consisted four stages, namely reconnaissance, planning, acting, reflecting. Furthermore, respondents were 12 teachers, samples 73 students. In reconnaissance stage, data recorded documented in transcript form. RESULT: At planning instrument status, workbooks, modules developed. Meanwhile, acting psychosocial intervention conducted, reflecting child status before after measured using dependent t-test. Focus Group Discussion activity Development School-based Health Program has 6 themes. The analysis results showed significant changes, meaning that there change (p = 0,000; alpha 0.05). influence on status. CONCLUSION: programs include identification, assessment, intervention, facilitation Therefore, it is recommended service education office synergize developing improve achievement.
