Development of high-efficient double-layer microwave absorbers based on 3D cabbage-like CoFe2O4 and cauliflower-like polypyrrole

Because of the widespread use wireless communication and electronic devices, electromagnetic radiation has become a global environmental pollutant. Therefore, finding excellent microwave absorbers (MAs) with appropriate magnetic loss dielectric matching is an urgent assignment. In this work, we successfully fabricated 3D architectures cabbage-like CoFe2O4 (CFO) cauliflower-like polypyrrole (PPy) as MAs. Firstly, dissipation features bare CFO PPy single-layer were evaluated, which showed no value for effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) poor values reflection (RL). Then, double-layer simulated, good RL EAB in case lower (absorption) layer upper (matching) layer, named CFO/PPy. Among CFO/PPy absorbers, CFO-1 mm/PPy-1.3 mm best −19 dB 3.8 GHz. The real absorber was prepared evaluated its features, −17.5 4.2 GHz, respectively. simulation close to each other. particular, could be covered across whole X band frequency range. better than attributed impedance capability coupling interaction between distinctive layers.
