چکیده
Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) is a non-wood and non-edible biorefinery resource extremely important for the development of dissolving pulp as material regenerated cellulose fiber. However, contains high amount xylan compared to hardwoods. This study aimed at finding suitable conditions producing good quality from moso stem using combination prehydrolysis non-sulfur alkali cooking elemental chlorine-free bleaching, separating lignin product black liquor in process. Prehydrolysis 150 °C 7 h soda 160 3 with 28% active 0.06% 2-methylanthraquinone was found give outcome. The content reduced 4.0%, further treatment cold caustic extraction remove not required quality, although yield approximately 30%. then bleached obtain ?-cellulose 95.0%, brightness 89.9%, viscosity 8.8 mPa·s. Lignin dissolved easily precipitated by CO2 when employed 35% solid concentration provided 42%. precipitation followed purification pH 2.9 weight-average molecular weight, polydispersity, ash 1566, 2.62, 0.6%, respectively.

Preparation of Bamboo Dissolving Pulp for Textile Production. Part 1. Study on Prehydrolysis of Green Bamboo for Producing Dissolving Pulp
Prehydrolysis was used as the first treatment of bamboo materials for producing high dissolving pulp for textile applications. In this paper, green bamboo (Dendrocalamopsis oldhami) was hydrolyzed in water, and the hydrolysis process was optimized. The morphology and super-molecular structures of the raw material and prehydrolyzed material were studied by SEM and XRD, respectively. Based on the...

The growing demand for rayon and cellulosic products has resulted in the conversion of a number of kraft pulp mills into dissolving pulp mills in recent years. In fact, kraft-based dissolving pulp production fits well into the concept of an integrated forest biorefinery, in particular, the utilization of dissolved organics in the pre-hydrolysis liquor (PHL) for bio-materials and bio-energy purp...

Corn stalk can be used as an alternative non-wood raw material to produce cellulosic dissolving grade pulp. In this work, the potential of corn stalk in the production of dissolving pulp (alpha-cellulose) was investigated. It was collect ed from a corn stalk farm of Kermanshah, Iran. The sequences of experimental work were: water and acid prehydrolysis at 160˚C for 30min, followed by Kraft pulp...

متن کاملSeparation and Structural Characteristics of Lignin in the Prehydrolysis Liquor of Whangee Dissolving Pulp
Separation and structural characterization of lignin are essential for valueadded utilization of hemicelluloses and lignin in the prehydrolysis liquor (PHL) of a kraft-based Whangee (a genus of bamboo) dissolving pulp production. In this work, lignin in the PHL was separated by acidification treatment (AT) and rotary vacuum evaporation treatment (RVET), and the separated crude lignin was then c...
