Development of arabic sign language dictionary using 3D avatar technologies

<span>The arabic sign language (ArSL) is the natural of deaf community in Arabic countries. ArSL suffers from a lack resources such as unified dictionaries and corpora. In this work, dictionary to has been constructed part translation system. The words are converted into hamburg notation system (HamNoSys) using eSign editor Software. HamNoSys was used create manual parameters (handshape, hand orientation, location, movement), while non-manual (facial expressions, shoulder raising, mouthing gesture, head tilting, body movement) added by (mouth, face, limbs) software. then gesture markup (SiGML) file, later 3D avatar interprets SiGML file scripts animated sign. three thousand signs; therefore, it can be adopted for which written text transformed utilized education people. will available free resource researchers.
