Development of a simple algorithm for linear accelerator construction and simulation

Aim: To develop a simple algorithm that accurately constructs and simulates an Alvarez-type linear accelerator given the initial conditions number of parts. Methods: We wrote in Python, programming language with numerous useful math science libraries, ability to use classes objects. The particles were accelerated electric fields (which we assumed be constant within each cavity at any moment) allow for comparison numerical results analytic expression. No magnetic present simulations used this article, particle beams instead focused by using collimators. first constructed guessing appropriate length segment until it found optimal lengths accelerating most beam. Once constructed, could accelerate analyzed.
