Development of a Quantitative Model in Land Use Planning Using GIS

Land evaluation methods are crucial for evaluating the potentials and constraints of land intended use. In procedure, environmental criteria such as topography, soil, climate, hydrology, socioeconomic parameters evaluated. Different technical procedures also used ranging from simple based on expert knowledge to more complex simulation models. The main goal this research is evaluate use natural resources future sustainable planning using Geographic Information System (GIS). So, in study, Iranian ecological model was analysis maps study area. First, capability different uses forestry, agriculture, range management, conservation, ecotourism, development villages, urban industrial areas were developed by overlaying geographical Boolean overlay method (as a Multi-Criteria Evaluation Method) GIS Township. final step prioritization considering socio-economic characteristics (by distributing questionnaires 63 experts (of area quantitative model. results showed that maximum proposed 78.31\%, which related rainfed showing has high potential demands Meanwhile, minimum forest ecotourism.
