چکیده

The object of the study is decision support systems. A methodology for evaluating information and analytical in systems was developed. method consists main stages: assessment type uncertainty about state analysis object, calculation criteria determination development options, system reaction time, formation initial scenario. next steps are establishing target analyzing options influencing obtaining intermediate states determining object. developed because need to process more has a moderate computational complexity. It found that proposed complexity 10–15 % lower compared methods effectiveness management decisions. This will allow assessing effective measures increase efficiency. possible each phase moments time when it necessary carry out structural changes ensure transition phase. Selecting a methodology for business information systems development: Decision model and tool support

The paper presents a decision model and a tool that helps to find an information systems development methodology (ISDM) for a computer-based business information system (IS) that is suitable to a certain IS development project or an organisation dealing with IS development. The intention of the model is not only to suggest a certain ISDM, but also to propose the properties an ISDM should have t...

Modeling and development of a decision support system for supplier selection in the process industry

This paper presents the development of a model based decision support system with a case study on solving the supplier selection problem in a chemical processing industry. For the evaluation and selection of supplier, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and grey relational analysis (GRA) were used. The intention of the study is to propose an appropriate platform for process industries in ...

Decision Biases and Decision Support Systems Development

The view of decision-making that has informed most decision support systems research has been Simon’s process theory. Further, the majority DSS work has focussed on the choice phase of Simon’s model of decision-making. Decision bias theory does not focus on the choice process but considers the possibility of systematic and persistent errors in all phases of judgement and decision-making. Decisi...
