Development of a Bench for Analyzing the Radio Station Operation in the APCO P25, DMR and TETRA Communication Standards Based on Broadband Software-Defined Radios and GNU Radio Software Toolkit

The article discusses the development of an instrument complex (bench, stand) for study digital radio communication standards: APCO P25, DMR and TETRA, based on software-defined systems (SDR) technologies in voice mode. bench is HackRF One broadband SDR transceiver GNU Radio open software toolkit. Along with One, it proposed to use TV tuner AstroMeta Digital Dongle as available receiver. structure hardware parts proposed. implementation listed standards libraries Osmocom project: BoadBot OP25 TETRA Live Monitor libraries. operating system Linux Debian 10 toolkit 3.7 were used practical testing functioning. results developed are presented both when interacting mode stations specified standards, between transmitter Dongle. For P25 DMR, receiving transmission modes speech signal have been practically tested bench, standard scanning broadcast tested. As a operability confirmation screenshots programs implementing interaction components given. architecture allows expand list supported standards. can be used: 1) educational purposes standards; 2) debugging under development; 3) control during release systems.
